The Analog Output is configured from the front panel or the serial port and set up by jumpers on the printed circuit card. The option allows the transmission of Gross, Net, Optional ROC, Peak, or Total weight as 0-5V, 0-10V, 0-20mA, or 4-20mA (or the reverse of these), and makes it possible to span these ranges over a portion of the weight data.
Resolution is 16,000 counts, or the number of display counts available in the range selected, whichever is less. Both voltage and current data are available simultaneously.
Both units use a dual analog card available as an option. Each of two Analog Outputs per option card is configured from the front panel or the embedded web server. This option allows the transmission of Gross, Net, Optional ROC, or “mapped” weight as 0-5V, 0-10V, 0-20mA, or 4-20mA (or the reverse of these), and makes it possible to span these ranges over a portion of the weight data. All parameters can be mapped to these Analog outputs. Each analog output can be assigned to any of the instruments' four-scale channels.
Each of four independent Analog outputs per option card are configured from the front panel or the embedded web server. This option allows the transmission of Gross, Net, available Rate-Of-Change (ROC), or “mapped” weight as 0-5V or 0-10V over two of the outputs, and 0-20mA or 4-20mA over the other two outputs. All four outputs are independent of each other. It also is possible to span these ranges over a portion of the weight data with a resolution of 16,000 counts for each channel. All parameters can be mapped to these Analog outputs.
Thie HI 6200 Weight Transmitter is ideal for OEMs and Machine Builders who require a fast, stable analog signal and a small form factor. The analog 4-20mA output is directly proportional to the programmed gross, net, or count range; by setting the low value equal to 4mA and the high value equal to 20mA. These values can be set from either the color touch screen display or the web interface.
